Abstract

This article presents the methodological and archival itinerary followed to prepare the final doctoral thesis work entitled García de Haro y Avellaneda, Count of Castrillo. Political Biography of a Courtier in Service of the Hispanic Monarchy during the Times of Philip IV. The previous theoretical-methodological reflections are recovered, as well as the construction of the state of the art and the survey of the different repositories that constitute the critical apparatus of the research.
